The Lindy 4 Port HDMI 4K60, USB 3.0 and Audio KVM Switch is a compact solution for providing access and control over four HDMI equipped PCs from a single keyboard, mouse and monitor setup.
Support for resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD 60Hz ensures the highest image quality, perfect for demanding graphical content in gaming setups, video editing or quad system control workstations. The additional support for High-Dynamic Range ensures video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut. The audio output ports on the main unit also allow users to connect headphones or speakers to add immersive 2CH audio and a microphone, pressing the Audio On/Off button on the front panel mutes these devices. These ports are not connected to the HDMI signal but to a built-in USB converter while two additional USB devices such as printer, scanner or hard drive can be connected to the USB 3.0 ports on the front panel.
The KVM switch features two switching options including push buttons on the unit and keyboard hotkeys provide simple, reliable control for the user, great for both professional and first time users.
RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products (known as EEE). All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. The substances banned under RoHS are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and four different phthalates (DEHP, BBP, BBP, DIBP).
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from risks that can be posed by chemicals.
The letters ‘CE’ appear on many products traded on the extended Single Market in the European Economic Area (EEA). They signify that products sold in the EEA have been assessed to meet high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements. When you buy a new phone, a teddy bear, or a TV within the EEA, you can find the CE mark on them. CE marking also supports fair competition by holding all companies accountable to the same rules. CE marking is a part of the EU’s harmonisation legislation, which is mainly managed by Directorate-General for Internal market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs. The CE marking for Restriction of Hazardous Substances is managed by Directorate-General for Environment. Comprehensive guidance on the implementation of EU product rules can be found in the so-called Blue Guide.
UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking is a conformity mark that indicates conformity with the applicable requirements for products sold within Great Britain.
