The BS80 Piranha II is offered in 2 versions, containing a 1D or a 1D+2D barcode scanning engine. Both of these engines read virtually any barcode from paper or screen. The 2D device has been equipped with a laser aimer with a red cross to make barcode reading easier and faster.

The BS80 Piranha II boasts not only a reliable scan button but also two extra buttons for convenient data editing. For data collection mode, the Delete button allows users to quickly rectify scanning errors by deleting the last scanned barcode. Meanwhile, the Function button serves as a virtual keyboard recall feature, enabling manual data input on a wide range of host devices, including iOS products. Versatile Charging & Communication
The BS80 Piranha II features a fast and reliable USB-C port that can be used both for charging and establishing a connection to a host to download data or access the EasySet configuration software. In addition, the device also supports the use of pogo pins to charge via the cradle.
Multi-Device Charging
The BS80 Piranha II offers an optional two-bay charging solution that can be easily linked together to create a multi-charging station. With optimized charging capabilities, users can daisy-chain up to five cradles, allowing them to charge up to ten scanners simultaneously using a single power supply.
RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products (known as EEE). All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. The substances banned under RoHS are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and four different phthalates (DEHP, BBP, BBP, DIBP).
